The problem is that when I boot up , the following message shows up:
"One of the files containing the Systems Registry data had to be recovered by use
of log or alternate copy. The recovery was successful"
I had to click OK 2 times or more before the User accounts log in screen shows up.
I then click on my user account and the message appears again. I click OK once more
and then I am logged in. Then everything works as expected.
This message appears also if I log into my wife's account but does not show up when
I log into Guest account.
Both our accounts have admin rights .
This is really puzzling . It started sometime ago . It happened certainly at an earlier
date than I can restore to.
I made a Google search of this issue and this seems to be quite a common problem
but no one has a definitive solution .
