windows installer wants to run Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 4:16 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by josette poirier (25 messages posted) a few computer questions thank god for this site - I hope this problem fits here, I have this question - Whenever I try to send an e-mail message (Outlook Express 6), I get a window saying windows installer wants to run. If I hit the cancel button on the window, it will shut off, but it takes a while - a few minutes. If I do the ctl alt delete thing, and stop windows installer, it also kills the e-mail message that I have just written.
