I looked your 1966 up, and while it had huge overhangs at both ends, it really wasn't
hugely longer on its wheelbase than my 1986 is, which surprised me. I had to verify
that engine option, since it seemed (my recollection) to have been a couple of years
"early", and I thought I might find the "7 Liter" 427 hydraulic engine instead.

Among "full size" Dearborn / Detroit iron, I had a '67 Galaxy, that Dodge Monaco
-- 1969, a Ford Ranchwagon, 1977 (talking about barges -- over 4000 pounds, and with
a 460 V8 monster engine, carb rated at about 900 cfm = 9 mpg uphill/ downhill/ loaded/
unloaded/ fast / slow), and I still have my Crown Vic, 1988.
