Yellow update icon Friday, October 16, 2009 at 3:13 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Steve (4 messages posted) I did the Oct 15, 09 Microsoft update and restarted, the little yellow icon will not go away even when it says the update installed. I've retried the install a few more times and have cold booted...never had this happen before..help!
