To more effectively manage your updates use the Security Settings in your Control 
Panel. In the upper left you will see something like "check windows updates". When 
the buttons come up use the Customize button. There you will see any Updates that 
you have hidden. Ignore them and select button on lower right "Show other updates."
Install what you like, or hide and select do not show this update anymore if you 
desire etc.
The Yellow Sheld update can be finicky to say the least.
