pesky icon Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 1:14 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Mike Brown (103 messages posted) I have Windows XP on my computer, and I have a pesky icon on my taskbar. When I run my mouse pointer over this icon , it states "COM3: 0 bytes in, 0 bytes out" and I want to get rid of that icon. Can anyone tell me how to delete that icon permanently. Thank you.
