How to come out of hibernation Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 5:53 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Brock Jones (194 messages posted) I know how to put my computer (winxp) in hibernation and to activate it but I can't find anything that says how to restart it. I push the power button and nothing happens unless I hold it for five seconds and totally shutdown the computer. I can't find this on google or on the help page of winxp.
