Desk top background picture Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at 6:33 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Michael (6 messages posted) Running Windows XP SP3. After booting up computer the background picture previously selected appears but does not stay. It cuts to black leaving just the icons. If I set in a new background picture it stays for duration of sesson on computer. Next start-up causes picture to disappear to black after all files are loaded.
