Exactly how far do you get when the PC starts ? Can you boot into Safe Mode ? To do this, repeatedly press F8 when the PC is started up - until the menu appears. Then select Safe Mode and see what happens - be patient, Safe Mode can take a little while to sart up. Let us know what happens.
