SFC /scannow with XP-SP3 crashes computer Monday, November 2, 2009 at 11:33 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by sdruid (1 messages posted) I tried using SFC /scannow with XP-SP3 and now my computer attempts to boot but never gets past the windows xp startup screen. I didn't have this problem with XP-SP2, or even Win2k-SP4... I tried a repair re-install but all I get is still the same Windows XP startup screen, any ideas how to fix this without have to reload windows from scratch would be appreciated....
