LOL Seriously, have you looked in device manager? Go into device manager (Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager) and look at Network Adapters. If there is a yellow exclamation point or some other abnormal indication there, double-click it and see what is wrong. If it is a driver issue you might be able fix the driver there by getting / updating the driver from your O/S installation source.
