Dual boot problem Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 6:22 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Bernie Marquardt (4 messages posted) Hi there; I had installed Windows 7 in a different partition; wanted to use it alongside XP to get used to it. Well, I didn't like it and I formatted that partition. That still leaves an entry in the boot record for Windows 7, and it is the default. When I look at my boot.ini in XP, it doesn't mention Windows 7, so I can't make any corrections there. Any ideas? Would appreciate your suggestions.
