WinXP Pro IE8 Address Bar flickers Monday, November 16, 2009 at 10:56 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by BPB (3 messages posted) This is a somewhat difficult problem to describe. Whenever I type in a url in the IE8 address bar and go to that page, immediately upon loading the page the address bar starts opening and closing extremely quickly. The effect is as if the fully-extended address bar was about halfway transparent. For some reason, hitting the "Shift" key will stop it from doing that and then I can use the page. That's the best way I know to describe what's going on. Has anyone ever seen this before and, more importantly, what the heck is going on and how do I make it quit?! Any/all help is always appreciated.
