Thanks, I'm familiar with msconfig (which is more or less a user friendly way of
editting [HKLM/HKCU]\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and Start>Programs>Startup,
but anything you put in there is only being run when *booting* windows (i.e. after
cold start or resetting your computer).
I mean after *standby* as well - so when I choose standby (as opposed to shut down
or restart), computer goes "off" (well, kinda) and when I turn it back on, I'm immediately
back in windows with all open programs etc, where I left. That's when I want to run
a custom program.
