Hello all,
For the past couple of days my browser has started by itself on booting the pc. It
always goes to the same page meetlocalpeople.org. The boot goes fine until it starts
loading the programs on the bar at the bottom ( zonealarm, avg and such like) which
is when it loads the browser, which is firefox by the way. If i close the browser
and carry on as normal, after a few minutes a new tab will open and the web page
appears again. This started the day after installing AVG 9 and my browsing was very
slow. I have since uninstalled AVG 9 and re-installed 8.5 and my browsing is back
to normal speed.

I have run AVG, spybot, ad-aware and super spyware blaster.......everything seems
fine. I did an msconfig and checked all the items in the startup tab and once again
all seems well.
That is about the limit of what i can do without any help for people in the know.........any
ideas please.
Dave
