Recently I installed Fedora 12 to dual boot on the same harddrive as my existing XP. I defragmented four or five times before attempting this. Everything seemed to work out fine. However, I noticed I was not getting any sound on XP. I opened device manager and noticed two yellow question marks, one for a missing "multimedia audio controller" and one for a missing "multimedia video controller." I have a Sound Labs SB Audigy 2 sound card, but I don't think XP is recognizing it now. I have codecs, etc. installed, but when I try to install the drivers for the Audigy card the installation software tells me I don't have an Audigy card installed...but I do! What in the world happened?
