hi, i have this computer that had so much dust causing it to shutdown of overheating..i
cleaned it, and now it doesnt shut down.. now theres another problem i have..
its windows XP home edition service pack 1
i can get into safe mode no problem..doesnt seem like anything else is wrong... so
when i log in normally it shows
Windows File Protection
Files that are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized
versions. To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions
of these files.
Insert your Windows XP home edition service pack 1 cd now.
ok, the problem is i dont have the cd. i was wondering if there was anything else
i can do to restore these files from the web.
i tried system restore dating back to 1st of Jan, 2007.
still says the same thing.
i was wondering if i download a bootleg windows disk for xp. and using that. would
you think that might work?
Thanks for your help.
