I have a question about Stop Windows from saving the thumbnail cache (THUMBS.DB):

Hi everyone, So I have set windows to not create these thumbs.db files, I have deleted every thumbs.db file on the computer, I have cleared the paging file and have just about gone nuts trying to figure out why the computer insists on using images that have been completly wiped off the computer as thumbnails for images that are half downloaded. How do I clear this up? When I am downloading images, the computer automatically uses other images that don't exist as the thumbnail previews until the whole image is downloaded and then it refreshes and it's the right thumbnail. Is there some other DB somewhere storing the old thumbnails. It does not seem tied to the file name, it must use the old images based on file size or something. Please help if you can, Thanks
