...getting tired of this....
It even appears when there is almost nothing running and no one is using it (and
"no": there is nothing running in the background or any scheduled process or program)
I could list all the BSOD screen contents, but you all know them probably too well.
I have Googled and tracked down every "fix" or "recommendation" for a PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
BSOD error. I am under the impression that it is an error that frequently occurs
when RAM and VRAM have "issues" playing in the sandbox well together.
Here's what's been done so far:
1) Screened out any possible virus, trojan, registry errors, etc., etc., etc.
2) Adjusted VRAM to maximum allowable (it's still LESS than what is recommended in
the box, but it's the most I can do.)
3) Updated Dell BIOS to latest version for Windows XP SP3 for the service tag I have.
3) Ran the Windows Memory Diagnosting (beta).
All were fine.
So: what's next?
