Thanks for that guide and I should have stated that the SCSI mounting software clearly mounts the drive at SCSI boot then using XPs "System", "Hardware" in control panel the disk is shown as my third SCSI drive, its reference details are correct and the "Device is working proerly" is the feedback at item level. It just does not appear in "My computer and cannot be accessed. I think I may have installed this drive when I had NetGear's "Storage Central" software installed and therefore something changed when I removed that program. It did say that all Zsan drives would be dismounted but I thought that would refer only to those drives in the Netgear Storage Central device. Could it have dismounted this SCSI and, if so, how do I re-mount it without using system restore and gettiing that dreadful Netgear software back?
