I am still having this problem after reading everyone's suggestion.
1) I don't have a USB KB or mouse so that can't be the issue, right? I have wireless
using the ports.
2) I changed my power setting to "minimal power management" that didn't work.
3) I went into BIOS and found out that my ACPI was S1. So I changed it to S3. After
changing to S3, the fan finally went quite. I thought I finally fixed the problem.
However, now I'm having trouble waking the computer. I press the power button and
the computer starts up like it should but nothing shows on the monitor (yes, the
monitor is turned on). I tried moving the mouse and pressing the keyboard to fully
"wake it up", nothing. Any suggestions?
In BIOS, for the ACPI, I had the choice of (S1, S3, S1 & S3)
