Using the Administrator account for everyday use is flirting with disaster. XP accounts
occasionally become corrupted, and may even be unusable or simply have little inconveniences
like that you have described. You should always create your own user account, you
can give it admin rights; then if something goes wrong, you can use the Admin account
to fix the problem.
