Get task manager open, kill the explorer.exe process.
That usually causes the taskbar to relaunch, but on the rare occassion it does not
click File->New Task and type in explorer.exe, then click OK. That will launch your
taskbar.
I know I'm 5 years late with this, but I forgot how to do it and this came up in
google without the right answer I knew was there. So next time I forget this should
be here waiting for me. ;)
