I have come across this problem several times on customers computers. Some of the
BS security software/adware and viruses replace the atapi.sys file. Look at the
Time/date of the file. If you have SP3 installed it should be 04/13/2008 11:40 AM.
If it isn't then find a good copy of the file and replace it.
