Wave/MP3 volume control won't stick Friday, March 19, 2010 at 5:53 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Chesapeake (42 messages posted) Microsoft Playback Control v5.1: I set the Wave/MP3 volume slider all the way up and it stays that way for a while but it soon returns to a position of about 35%. I don't know exactly under what circumstances it returns to the low (35%) position. I assumed that it did it whenever my system was rebooted, but it happened today and I had not restarted my system since I last moved the slider all the way up. Anyone know how to make the volume stay in its full up position?
