I found a fix. I opened the mouse, and while it was plugged into the usb port, steadied
the pointer on an 'x' to close a tab in Firefox and used a small-tip Phillips head
to push down on the left click button. It worked! acts like it was either reset
or maybe unstuck. Similar to when you flush a urinal, sometimes the handle will
stick sideways a little and let the water continue to run. Hopes this helps!
