Here you go.
Using regedit go to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Make a new DWORD entry named: NoCDBurning
and give it a value of 1
Reboot and the cd/dvd should be gone unless it's added as a shortcut in a "send to"
folder
Like this...
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoCDBurning"=dword:00000001
