What befuddles me, is WHY people post BS replies to questions when they clearly have not pulled their heads out of their arses ... and even more so ... why people respond with thanks? Huh? Perhaps a further WTF ... why people cut/paste/post WRONG info ad infinitum to the web, without ever verifying it is correct in the first place (unless they know it is wrong and are just being a$$holes, but honestly I do not think that is normally the case ... I think most people are just f@cking stupid). Anyway ... I digress ... google "use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop" to find the honest, no bullsh!t solution ...
