Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 6:33 am Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Mike (1 messages posted) Hello, I had been searching forums forever trying to figure out why I couldn't switch to the XP theme.  After doing a clean install on a PC that I had just built.  Everything I tried resulted in a weird error message.  So, here is what I did to resolve the issue. 1. start > run type "services.msc" 2. double click "Themes" 3. Change to "Automatic" (even if it is already selected), then click start, then apply, then OK 4. Navigate to "C:\windows\resources\themes" and double click on "Luna" 5.
