Question about 'Connect to a Windows XP or 2000 system with a Windows 95, 98, or Me system over a Network' Friday, May 24, 2002 at 11:11 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Alan Hsu (1 messages posted) I have a question about Connect to a Windows XP or 2000 system with a Windows 95, 98, or Me system over a Network: I recently tried networking my two computers through a router. The internet sharing works perfectly fine, but the file/printer sharing only works on the computer with XP. The other computer has windows 98 2nd edition and cannot detect the network at all. I was wondering why only the XP machine detects the network and can look at files on the other computer while the machine running windows 98 cannot even detect the network.
