I have a question about How to Share Files through Windows XP's Internet Connection Firewall:

I have a network as such: cable modem->custom linux router->Linksys switch->PC's The router is supposed to have a firewall on it, but I'm not a linux expert so I just wanted to make sure my comp was covered. If I dissable XP's firewall, I can access the other computers on my network. I can't when it is enabled. I tried enabling all 5 of those ports on the loopback listed in the article. Since there is a switch between the router and the PC's, the router should not interfere should it?? Any other suggestions on ports to enable or anything.
