Question about 'Uninstalling Windows'

I have a question about Uninstalling
Windows:
I have windows 98 on my c: drive. I was trying to install xp over 98 and it wouldn't
let me, so I installed xp on my 2nd hard drive (d:). Now i have ended up with 2 operating
systems and all I really want is Windows Xp. How can I uninstall xp from my d: drive
and then change my c: drive from 98 to xp?
The D: drive is set as a slave drive to C:
