I have a winxp pro pc at a remote location. I can't access files or the printer using
win98 pc's. I've added logon's for all remote users to the xp pc. I can't access
files or the printer on the xp pc. I get the netlogin box to enter a password for
IPC$. When I enter the users password it comes back incorrect.
The winxp pro pc is connected to a domain as well as the other win98 pc's at the
remote location. Am I missing something about winxp. Should I set the xp box up as
a "workgroup" instead of connecting to my "domain"? Then set all win98 pc's at that
location to the xp workgroup? Will the pc's at the location be able to access servers
at different locations if I change their network settings?
