Question about 'How do I make the background of desktop icon text transparent?'

I have a question about How do I make the background of desktop icon text transparent?:

If I set the desktop to a web page, the desktop icons' backgrounds show up. Is there any way to keep those icon backgrounds transparent? Its rather intolerable. Thanks !
