I have a question about Do
I still need CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT?:
My toddler turned my computer off and then back on while I was out of the room.
Now when I try to boot up I am getting a message saying that my confi.sys file is
missing or has been corrupted. Based on what I have read in this forum that file
is not needed. I cannot get any further in the boot up process than this screen.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening or how I can fix it? Windows
XP came on my computer therefore I do not have the cd to boot from. Any help would
be greatly appreciated!! Thank You!
