Question about 'Stop Pop-Up Spam Messages' Friday, May 9, 2003 at 9:31 pm Windows XP Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Matt (1 messages posted) I have a question about Stop Pop-Up Spam Messages: This may be related, but recently I've been getting a ton of flooding on my MSN messenger. I never really use it and keep logging out, but it logs itself back in and I keep getting these annoying messages. They are usually in a group/room format that have a bunch of people (probably one person) join at once and spam. First, how did this happen, second-how do I totally turn off MSN messenger (I've tried the obvious--all windows closed off/no programs running-->click exit...it doesnt' work!), third, if I have msn messenger running how can I avoid these. thanks in advance for any help.
