DOS programs work under Windows XP.

Hahaha... Whoever wrote this article doesn't klnow what they're talking about. they
said that Dos games don't run under windows 2000/XP, and we'll never find any that
do. Bullshit. Every game I've tried to run so far have run flawlessly under XP. I
think it's funny that M$ has said it no longer relies on DOS for its underpinnings,
doesn't support DOS programs, blah blah blah. Even cynics believe their press. I
had an entire folder of folders of games that I pulled directly off a DOS/Win95 machine
that were made to run under DOS. I'm running right now under Windows XP Pro Wolfenstein
3D episodes 1-6 full with no error whatsoever. Quite flawless, actually. Amazingly
pretty much all the games recognize the sound card, the mouse, etc. Better even
than they did originally under DOS proper! So, it's pretty much bull that DOS programs
don't work. Occasionally, I have to flip a setting or two, but no worse than under
DOS itself, usually with far better support.
