I have a question about Top reasons for random, fatal crashes in Windows XP and Windows 2000:

I have a problem with a lot of random crashes. The only situation where I can duplicate this crash is when I try to change the size of the virtual memory windows is using. I changed the default 1.5 times physical memory to 2 times my physical memory, hit set, and then the computer automatically restarts. That is the only time I've been able to replicate this crash, every other time it occurs randomly. I do not think it is an overheating or power supply problem, because ASUS PC probe does not show any dips or spikes in power supply, temperature, or fan speed. I'm running Windows XP Pro, with service pack 1a installed AMD Athlon 2700 processor ASUS Motherboard 512mb ram Western Digital 160 gig HD ATI Radeon 9700 Video Card any ideas?
