No Driver for Nvidia PCI System Management

I have a question about What
do I do with "unknown" devices in Device Manager?:
I've been having terrible problems trying to get my Epson CX5200 all-in-one printer
to SCAN. In the troubleshooting process, I discovered an unknown device in device
manager called "SM Bus Controller". I uninstalled this device, and scanned for new
hardware to get device manager to recognize whatever it is...it turns out the SM
Bus Controller was my NVIDIA Pci System Management controller, which evidently controls
USB ports...and is probably why my all-in-one-printer is not being recognized properly
in device manager. Anyways, now this NVIDIA PCI controller says it has no driver.
When I try to install a driver by auto searching, I get a message that there is
no better driver than the one already installed! I've even tried uninstalling my
NVIDIA device drivers, and reinstalling them...no go. Can anyone help me????
