I have a question about How do get the taskbar and desktop back if Explorer crashes:

. if i restart explorer, many apps which minimise to the small panel near the clock do not show up, although the processes are runnig they dont appear again. The only way to get them visible again seems to be to restart then, yet the same problem may occur. Also, sometimes explorer crashes if i end task internet explorer! why is that?
