Question about 'How do I stop a program from running whenever I start Windows?'

After I start my computer and log into Windows XP, I get a small dialogue box that reads "Resource Manager Not Found!" I have a general idea what a resource manager is, but I don't know where it's supposed to be or why it's not there. I tried using the windows search function including system files but it did not find anything. I don't think it hurts anything by popping up, but it's somewhat frustrating to have to click OK on it in order for Windows to continue to logging on. Please help.
