Has anybody installed this with XP? Does the Multimedia center 7.1(compatible with Windows 2000) work?

Yes: I've installed XP on a system with this video card and it worked just fine. The installation picked up the card and installed drivers just fine.

Yes. I have XP Pro and even on the installation it says that the Multimedia center is not compatible with XP. They advise you to uninstall it then because after XP is installed you may have diffuctly uninstalling it. So I uninstalled it and now have reinstalled it. The TV player and File Player work fine. No vcd's so I don't know about that however the dvd player is not here. ATI says on their website they are working on a fully compatible version which I am waiting for now.

I installed the new drivers also... worked for everything, but when I tried to get Netmeeting to show my video, it is 'greyed out'. Also MSN 4.5 is the same thing. I cannot get either to pick up my capture card. All worked fine in Windows ME. Sure would like to know if anyone solved this problem?

I also have installed both the latest drivers and mmc for xp as of January 9,2002 but still netmeeting and messenger 4.6 will not recognize the stupid card (otherwise it just gives an error message saying that there is a problem with my camera---which I know works fine with other video conference software) but microsoft fails to realize the we ATI AIW card owners are people too. LOL. If anyone finds a solution to this problem, email me at ptwhite@sympatico.ca. Thanks guys and gals. Paul

my all-in-wonder 128 16m agp works fine in 98. XP installed all hardware great except that preview/capture mode causes XP to haltstopfreeze. overlay mode works but looks pretty jittery for some reason. mediacrenter 7.2 wouldn't launch TV without error or lockup (depending on whether i used stock winXP driver or ATI XP driver release ) Ver: 5.1.2001.0 vs. 6.13.3279 ...let you know if i get capture to work
