Hi, I just installed Win Xp, my outlook 2000 can no longer connect to my email server. The rest of the computer has no problem, actually my browser and outlook express connect fine. I am using DSL. I tried to reinstall Outlook 2000 to no avail. Help please.

My connection to the Exchange Server failed because the referral service failed. I added the entry manually, and it worked fine. I had your other symptoms as well. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\MS Exchange Settings\dca740c8c042101ab4b908002b2fe182] "001e6602"="mail.server.net" (where "mail.server.net" is the mail server")
