Windows XP Display properties and logging into a domain.

How do you get Windows XP Pro to hold the display properties after they have changed,
and I have logged back into the machine? I have tried to hit "apply" then "ok" then
logout and login, but when I login to the domain the settings will not hold. If
I login as the administrator\local the settings hold fine each time. Of course I
can find no help on the MS sight. If anyone could help that would be great.

Make sure that the person you are logging in as is not setup as a guest - or that
the policies have been changed for users logging into the system.

Thanks God I'm not the only one having this problem....does anyone have an answer???
It's extremely frustrating, and I am considering going back to Win 98!

My solution has been to uninstall XP and go back to 98. So much for upgrades...Was
not happy with ME either, and guess in the future I will not buy the hype until sometime
down the road. XP also was simply annoying with displays that constantly changed,
constant annoying messages and announcements, etc..
Will try it again in about six months perhaps...
