I have an AGFA CL30 digital camera, AGFA said they are not going to update any drivers
for XP, my camera is useless and I have a good deal of money into it i.e memory etc.
any ideas on what I should do? If anything?

You could try using the Win 9x or W2K drivers. They may mork ok. If you do not
have them you can find them (and firmware updates) at driverguide.com.

The userID is "drivers" and the password is "all" if you have not registered. I have
a scanner with the same problem...no drivers. I'm giving it to my dad who's using
Win 98 and buying a new one.

I had the same problem with Minolta Dimage 2300. I got a compact flash reader USB
(there's also a smart media reader USB).

I have the Minolta Dimage 1500 and had no problem using the software that came with
the camera. Of course, it is serial and slower than using a flash reader, but it
does work.
