Question about 'Turn Off Delete Confirmation'

I have a question about Turn Off Delete Confirmation:

I have Windows XP Home Edition. For some reason it refuses to disable the delete confirmatin message. So I have to do as I did in W 98. I have not installed your software, for I see it is for Windows 95 and 98. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this annoying problem? I have tried System Restore, but it did not do the trick. Thanks, jandruz

Right click on the recycle bin on the desktop and select properties. The setting to disable the recycle bin and the delete confirmation box is in there.

This I have done, numerous times, but the Recycle Bin still demands a deletion confirmation. The box is unchecked
