I have a question about Dial-Up Networking Refuses to Remember Passwords:

I am running XP and it refuses to keep either the login or the password inbetween startups. Does anyone know how I can fix this? It's getting annoying to type them in all the time.

Go to the properties of the connection, on the options tab and uncheck the "prompt for name and password..." option

This happened to me, too. As far as I can tell, that is merely a security feature (it lists your password as something like 12 characters, so people can't tell how long it really is). Mine lists it as 12 long also, but I login fine with the password-rememberer and my password is only 7 chars long. -Cruz
