The tweaking tool that you want is X-teq X-set-up. This tool has numerous wizards
and setting for ALL flavors of windows. I first started using it with Windows 98
and followed the progression to Windows XP. There are continous additions to the
program by bored geeks, who prove that there is no such thing as too many tweaks.

Hello,
Using XP.
I have followed instructions on removing keys from uninstall key in registry editor
in order to remove premiere pro 2 in order to re-install. The Add/Remove list still
contains a listing of Adobe Premiere Pro 2, but it just has the text and an .exe/setup
type icon with no other information or 'Remove' button etc.
I downloaded and ran MyUninstaller, which is an alternative to the Add/Remove program
and there are NO references to Adobe - so they only show up in the Add/Remove program.
My problem is i cannot just run the Adobe set up and re-install because it says that
another version of the program is already installed and that i should remove it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thankyou.

the items i need to remove cannot be seen in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
also, in the add remove programs 95% of the programs listed does not have the remove
tab
