After having followed the instructions three times under the: Turn Off the Documents
Menu- Use TweakVI I was still unable to obtain the desired result. Any and all advice
would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Steve

James, thanks for the advice. I followed the steps as outlined and was still unable
to complete the task. As yet, I have still not located the Add new documents to Documents
on Start Menu or the Show Documents on Start Menu so that I can turn them off. Thank
you again.

winxp is a bit different, james...right click on taskbar->properties->start menu
tab->customize->advanced
then, uncheck 'list my recently opened documents'
hope this helps,
nate.

James, Thank you for the answer to a long time problem. Although I do not have Windows
XP, but Windows 98, I was able to turn off my documents menu quite easily. Thanks,
Camille
