I have a question about Uninstalling Windows:

Whenever I try to uninstall windows xp home edition wheather it be through Command Prompt or Windows it always says setup cannot uninstall windows xp because the neccesary registration information is missing! Somebody please tell me how to uninstall it I will be forever thankful!"

It sounds as if you hadf done an up- grade. If it is not there, oh well. back up the data and do a clean install, booting to the Windows XP CD and partitiononing anbd formatting. Stop the install after formatting if you are going to install another version of Windows. Good Luck

Try downloading a free program called X-SETUP It has over 700+ tweaks and the very last (or next to the last) in the \System\userdata\... is has a Windows update registration option which can be enabled or disabled. Play with it and see if that can help u. Good luck.
